Laurelhurst Park

The weather was awesome and we had to get out.  So, the kids and I ventured across the big river on an urban trek. We caught the trolley and rode to Jameson Park where the kids got a little wetter than I had planned.  What was I thinking?  Kids, water feature, more sun than we had seen in weeks.... you know the rest.  

Luckily for unprepared momma, they dried off in the car before we got to Laurelhurst Park.  We brought bread and crackers to feed the ducks but unfortunately there were signs everywhere telling us not to. Fortunately a large flock of seagulls were playing in the water and there were no signs telling us not to feed the seagulls.  Those are some very smart seagulls. 

I love this picture of B.  It reminds me of California and makes me feel optimistic that the sun just might stay...
