School is out and we can't stop jumping up and down. Yes, even on the couch. It is time to celebrate. We went out for ice cream, watched a movie and everyone got to stay up as late as they wanted. As my 2nd grader walked out of the school door he said, "AAAH I feel more relaxed already." So do I bud, so do I.I am not, have never been, and don't think I will ever be one of the moms who dreads summer break and in July starts counting down the days until the kids go back. No, I love the freedom and excitement of summer. I love the time we spend together as a family. I love summer projects. Most of all, I love not starting my day off by looking for lost socks, shoving breakfast down their throats and rushing the kids out the door.
Did I mention we are home schooling next year...:) Yeah! More to come on this subject later, but I am excited for the new adventure.

What a darling picture! She's adorable. I'm with you on the jumping up and down with school being out. I"m loving having no where to be, days at home, going out if we feel like it, not because we're late to be somewhere. I'm excited to hear more about your adventures in homeschooling!
