I'm not sure if Kel knew what she was getting herself into when she told the cute horse-obsessed girl in her Sunday School class (who happens to be my daughter) that she could come over to their farm anytime she wanted. Then for the next week my daughter asked me every 30 seconds if we could go to her Sunday School teacher's house NOW and I'm not sure who I felt like strangling more. I was sure it had been a casual invitation - not one that was meant to be followed through on. My daughter kept repeating the phrase, "but she said I could come anytime." Then the next week came and my oh-so-not-shy daughter asked her teacher - in front of me as if to prove a point - if she still wanted her to come over to their farm. Kel smiled and said she knew the only way to get the kids over is to ask them personally. So now the farm has four new animals that visit once a week and my daughter's biggest wish has been granted without me having to build a fence and muck stalls every day. There's many reasons to love Kel, but let me just say that is right up at the top:)
Thank-you so much for blesing our family with your farm and friendship! It was a privilege for me to take your family's pictures.
