The next day the pain was still horrible but the show had to go on. I knew one of the kids on the basketball team had a mom who was a dentist so during the game I went over and asked her what I should do. Yes, blogger world, I was one of those people who barges in on a professional's private life and forces them back into work mode. But trust me, it was THAT bad. In one fell swoop, Wanda took me under her wing, made some phone calls, got me an appointment for an emergency root canal, and even drove with me to the office to make sure I was okay! Umm, yeah, she's the best. I wasn't even a patient of hers yet! However, she pretty much sealed the deal that now I always will be.
The ladies at Palena Dental Arts ROCK. I'm pretty sure Dr. Palena and her crew are on a mission to change the face and image of dentistry. They somehow make me look forward to going to the dentist. And believe me, that is not an easy task. Perhaps it's because of all their beautiful smiles and the fact that they have always known me by name. Now they have an ultra fab, zen-like, spa feeling office that matches the quality of care that I have always received.
Last week they hired me to come in and shoot individual shots so they can update their website. Thanks so much you guys. You always brighten my day.
