Stef and Beau: The Wedding

It was his tear. His tear that got me. The day had been all fun, laughter, and teasing until I walked into the chapel where Beau was standing alone, waiting to see his bride for the first time. He turned and I thought I may have noticed a slight glistening and then sure enough a larger drop formed in the corner of his brown eyes. The weight of the day, the serenity of the chapel, the reality of love found, the promises in words that were soon to be spoken. It all came pouring down and and then back out of him in the form of a single tear. And it made me like him even more.

Beau is an easy guy to like. He's handsome, has an easy smile, and loves his kids ferociously. Shortly after meeting him, Stef knew he was her forever, but it took Beau a little longer to warm up to the idea of a forever anything. He wasn't sure he'd ever get married, but after sharing part of his life with Stef he knew she made him a better person. And he couldn't let that go. Or her big blue eyes. Or her adoring smile. After witnessing his tear and the way they held eachother I can't let go of them sharing forever together either.

Love these shoes and the garter with Beau's racing number on it.

These two had me cracking up. All. Day. Long. I had to give them some props on the blog.

Note to self: Do not attempt this shot before the ceremony. It may result in injury.

Just one of a series in the shots taken during Beau's first look at Stef. I'm so glad they chose to have a first look before the ceremony.

Yes, Patti, this post was for you:)
