We've got a winner, winner, winner!

I felt a little like the carnival game man while typing out that title.  But it just came pouring out and when a blog title comes out you all know there's no going back in.  Maybe it was motivated by the upcoming event of the year, Sausage Festival.  It's the one that replaces missed trips to the Clark County Fair this past year or last year or the year before that... But really now, that has nothing to do with this post except for the fact that I love Sausage Fest and will eat those little morsels of smoked goodness until my stomach hurts and it's my once a year time to seriously have an all-out elephant ear gorge fest, but again, I have regressed.  This has nothing to with this post.  Except maybe that these are the winners of my blog give-away and if you go to the Sausage Festival you too can be a winner!

Okay, really, here are the images from my session with the winners from my family portrait session give-away.  We decided to go rural and it was really rural.  Like so rural I needed to bring rubber boots to keep from getting burrs stuck to my toes.  Their poor dog.  He was so good and I bet it took hours to get all the burrs out of his curly fur.  But this was so fun.  The skin on their two kids looks so amazing when photographed and I love their daughter's red hair.  Yummy! (must be thinkin' sausage fest again cause all my adjectives are food related) Stay tuned...I think I'm going to do another family session give-away just in time for those holiday cards.

Hey, Lindsay,
I actually needed mud boots. I wore flip flops and my feet were covered with burs and stickers. I had to borrow some tennies from the neighbor (whom we knew) so that I could actually walk around. We went to the old barn that eightcrazy posted about.
