No She Didn't!

I'll admit it, I got a little scared when this family got out of the car and arrived at our location. They looked perfect...in white!! Did they not know who I was?? Did they not know that even I usually leave sessions with grass stains on my knees and dirt spots on my elbows? I immediately had visions of children falling and that beautiful white sweater dress turning various shades of brown.

I'm not quite sure what I said but mom jumped in with stories of their daughter going to school in all white and returning home looking just as she did when she left. Not in my house!! But then again I'm not David and Katherine and I suspect these parents pull off many things that I wouldn't dare even try - like wearing white to an outdoor photo session. And I'm laughing as a write this because I can just picture Katherine pointing to their beautiful images and sweetly saying, "See, I knew it would be perfect." And if you take a look at their images, I think you'll agree.

We collaborated on a great storyboard for their home and Christmas cards that I wish I could share, but I imagine the cards haven't gone out yet and I wouldn't want be the spoiler.

Katherine and David, thanks so much for letting me capture your family. It was fun to get to know you all better and I look forward to another longer and warmer photo session. I hear Seattle is fun...
